Doll Up ,Drum & Dance this Dusshera & Durga pooja



It's time to doll up , drum and dance !! 
The air is thin signaling the onset of autumn with the monsoons taking a break , well more or less in Bangalore  . This change gives way to the feeling that festivities of navratri, Durga puja and dasara have just began . 
You know where to head to witness dasara celebrations in full glory ! Yes Mysore it is , after all it's our state festival 
You also know where to head out to dance away at a dandiya night !! Palace grounds obviously ! 

But do you know where to go for Durga puja ?

1.The Bengali association ,Ulsoor(Oldest Association in the city)
Where: RBANMS Grounds , St. Johns road
Highlights: Around 45 Food stalls for visitiors , Free Bhog , Bharatnatyam & kathak performences
2. Socio-Cultural Association , Indiranagar
Where: BBMP Basketball Ground , opp Kairali niketan school ,Indiranagar
Highlights : Dandiya & Garbha program for navratri , Performances by singers
3. Vivenkananda Cultural Association ,Yelahanka
Where : Jnanajyoti Education trst  & PU College Campus ,Yelhanka New town
Highlights: Performances by Aurko , Dandiya , Dhunuchi Naach Competition

Vijayadashmi (Dusshera ) is our Nada Habba(State Festival) but we are all for unity in diversity & everything Indian to celebrate & be part of .
